Foreword: This game was also known as Death Sword.\r
\r
Take control of the Barbarian and fight your way to a showdown with the evil wizard, Drax, in an attempt to save the lovely princess Mariana from his dungeon.\r
\r
I first played this on the Commodore 64 and then on the Amiga. Theres surprisingly little difference between the two other than the Amiga version has no music and instead has some cool digital sound effects. Overall, I think I still prefer the C64 version due to the music by Richard Joseph.\r
\r
Each stage can be won by reducing your opponents health to zero, or by landing a flying neck chop, which will cut his head clean off, thus ending the round prematurely.\r
\r
When you get to Drax, he will attack you with spells that can kill you in a single hit. All you have to do is avoid the spells and cross the screen to touch him to win the game; I skillfully beat his ass with a forward-roll.\r
\r
Mariana looks rather jaundiced and suffering from rickets.some reward for all that effort!\r
\r
Enjoy!
